In the period of 10-14 September 2018, the 5th session of the Sub-Committee on the Carriage of Cargoes and Containers (CCC) was held at the headquarters in London.
The Maritime University of Szczecin has taken part again in the West Pomeranian Science Festival in our region. On Monday, 17th September, we prepared the following offer for primary and secondary school students from Szczecin and the surrounding area: navigation and manoeuvre simulations in the European LNG Training Centre, the ARPA and other simulators, processes occurring in ship engine rooms - in the Marine Power Plant Laboratory and Simulator, virtual reality and 3D print laboratories. The deck of Nawigator XXI was also opened for visitors!
The conference Green Cities - Green Logistics For Greener Cities - one of the most important events in the area of logistics – was held on 13th and 14th September at the Maritime University of Szczecin. The event was co-organised by the Maritime University of Szczecin, the Marshal's Office of the West Pomerania Province and the Central European Transport Corridor European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation as a part of the Low Carbon Logistics (LCL) project financed from the South Baltic Programme.
Another cruise within the Marelitt Baltic project took place between 20th and 31st August 2018. The aim of the cruise was to catch the nets lying on wrecks previously verified by the project team from the Maritime University of Szczecin based on the information obtained from fishermen, from their own data and by making measurements with a side-scan sonar.
